"The day is what you make it, so why not make it a great one?"
~Steve Schulte
You wake up, and you have no energy. It's rainy and it's a Monday. You have no clue what to wear. You got soap in your eyes while you showered. You spilled your bowl of cereal, which your dog ate and then threw up. Your phone didn't charge last night. You're late! You grab a bagel, miss your morning cup of coffee, and go. You arrive at school or work, only to realize you forgot your project that was due today. Sounds like a seriously crappy day, right? But it doesn't stop there. You continue to make it a bad day by focusing on your bad morning. You never let it go! But you know what? The rest of the day didn't have to be stinky!
I think what we often forget in these situations is that we can turn these types of days around! We have the power to do that! So the morning may not have been a good one, that doesn't make the rest of the day automatically horrible. But you can't label it as bad at the first sight of something not going your way. You need to have faith in yourself, and trust that God will get you through it. When you do that, you'll be able to make that U-turn and make it a good day after all!
